OH MY GOODNESS!!!! I can't believe it's already Saturday! I can't believe it'll be all over tomorrow. I have had such a great time here, making new friends, learning about journalism, etc, that I don't think I'm ready to go home. I wish this workshop could have been longer so I would have had a chance to become even closer with everyone here. Some of the things that happened this week will forever be etched into my memory. I will never forget our overly competitive game of Taboo (and the crazy things screamed out as potential answers), episodes of late night venting to one another, talking to the many civil rights activists who participated in Freedom Summer, and I don't ANYBODY will forget when Yolanda... well we all know. We will all take great skills in journalism from this workshop and will forever appreciate this opportunity. I am conflicted about going home to my family and other friends (whom I can't wait to see) because that will mean I'll have to leave all of my new friends (who have become more like a family), who I won't see in a long time, if ever again. I just hope that we can all stay in touch after this, and maybe even some of us will become life long friends, because you never know who you will need in life. I want everyone to know that I LOVE YOU GUYS!!
