Raegan Johnson, 16, described herself as goofy, curious, and outgoing. She is a senior at Biloxi High School and has been a member of student council, the Indian Echo
Yearbook staff, and the Pink Pearls for four years. She currently serves as secretary for the African American Cultural Society, Vice President for her senior class, and Creative Development editor for the yearbook staff.
Her major influences are her grandfather, Dr. John R. Kelly; mentor, Eryka Wallace; and her mother, Felice Gillum. Raegan loves asking questions, and that is a major part of her passion for journalism. She describes herself as a “phone geek,” explaining she is always on her phone talking, writing, and making graphics. Johnson plans to major in English and minor in journalism because she has a passion for both.
